The Official Event Personnel Agency for an Exceptional Brand

Tigris Personnel began working with Peter Mielzynski Agencies Ltd. in May and we’re excited to announce that we are now the exclusive event personnel company for Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum in the Greater Toronto Area.

This particular client is near and dear to my heart since my career in the promotions industry started with Appleton Rum, more than 10 years ago, back in 2001. I was ecstatic to be one of their core promotional models for 6 years, working events ranging from traditional bar promotions and golf tournaments, to the high profile Bell Canadian Open and the Canadian Squash Classic. The experience of working as event personnel with such a reputable brand taught me alot – professionally AND personally. I learned how to set up events properly, expectations surrounding responsible alcohol tasting and how to engage with people from all walked of life.

Working promotions for Appleton Rum was  a part-time job for me while I was in school, but through these opportunities I met another promotional model who introduced me to the woman who later became my partner for Tigris Personnel. It opened many doors and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be where I am today if I had not had this experience.

Now I am able to pass on the torch to a select group of Tigris Personnel’s event personnel and give them the opportunity to work exciting events – as I once did. With just 4 months under our belt, we have already staffed more than30 events. We have also taken on complete event management – setting up/tearing down all events, managing a storage unit and updating the uniforms.
